Sidewalk Sketches

I taught preschool for many years, and one of the staples in my classroom was sidewalk chalk. When all else failed, bringing out the chalk allowed kids (and adults alike) to get creative, filling the concrete with letters and images. These Sidewalk Sketches take you on a journey around town, to the farm, by the mountains, and through the countryside, with stops for classic sidewalk games along the way.

Come Sail Away

When designing this main print, Starship Voyage, I envisioned the dreams of children, sailing away on a ship into the sky with friendly sea creatures following along on the journey. This collection would make great juvenile bedding, as well as a cozy fleece blanket or other decor.

Sunny Daze

Summers in Louisiana can get extremely hot, but childhood is filled with fun ways to beat the heat. From outdoor games and digging in the sand to taking a dip in the water, there's always something to enjoy. Perhaps the best part is the cool treats waiting in the freezer or at the sno-cone stand. The Sunny Daze collection captures these summer highlights in bright colors that practically bounce off the design.

On The Move

I created the On The Move collection in response to an art call for cloth diapering solutions. As a grandmother, I remember the cumbersome diapers of old and have enjoyed using the new, modern diapers on my own grandbabies. These designs were inspired by my youngest grandson, who loves everything with wheels and balls. He has already requested shorts made with the 'orange tricycle' design. While certain colorways may lean towards being more masculine or feminine, the designs themselves are intentionally gender-neutral.
